CIROYOM STREET FOOTBALL CLUB PORTRAITS
Ciroyom, Bandung, Indonesia 2015
One of my work during my volunteering at Rumah Cemara documenting Street Football Club at Ciroyom. Ciroyom is one of the largest traditional market, where a lot of homeless kids live. Rumah Cemara engages the community by making a football coaching twice a week, the aim is to increase the quality of life for the homeless kids, and also to transfer a positive value through football. This is my personal works besides my documentation project. Here are a few portraits of the homeless kids that I met and interact for almost 3 months during the program. Until now few of them still in touch with me as a good friend. I hope through these series of photographs I can build the awareness about child safety because there are so many risks that they should take by living on the streets like sexual harassment, violence, drug addict, child labour.
